Purpose: Level Design Exercise
On the map to the right, enemy bases are marked in red, road paths in grey, walking paths in brown, aggressive wildlife in orange, non-aggressive wildlife in pink, and pick-up items in yellow. The main base I wanted to explore further was the one located in the ocean.
I envisioned the base as a war ship. A few things I kept in mind were strategic locations where players could seek cover and mapped out potential routes for AI pathfinding.
Check out the 3D version I made using Unity in a gym-like setting. It was a great learning experience, and I'll carry the lessons forward as I keep honing my skills in future projects.
